This is the fastest way to launch a course on Lectful: describe what you want to teach, and the AI Course Builder drafts the whole thing — modules, lessons, and learning objectives — for you to review and refine.
No content ready? You don't need any. A clear topic sentence is enough for the AI to build a full outline.
1. Open the AI Course Builder
From your admin dashboard, the welcome screen greets you with "What do you want to teach?" You can also start any time from Courses → New course in the left sidebar.
2. Describe your course
In the box, write a sentence or two describing your topic and who it's for — for example:
Introduction to Digital Marketing for beginners: SEO, social media, and email.
The more specific you are, the sharper the outline. Then click Generate with AI.
3. Tell the AI who it's for
While your course builds, Lectful asks one quick question — who your learners are:
- Corporate training
- University / School
- NGO / Non-profit
- Independent creator
Pick the closest fit (or choose Skip this question). It helps the AI set the right tone and depth.
4. Let AI build the outline
In about a minute, Lectful crafts your course outline, organizes it into modules and lessons, and adds learning objectives for each section — you'll watch it come together in real time.
5. Review and make it yours
When it's ready, your course opens in the course editor. Nothing is locked in:
- Rewrite or reorder any lesson or module.
- Add your own videos, documents, and images.
- Add quizzes and a certificate for the finish line.
- Turn on the AI Tutor so learners can ask questions any time.
6. Price it and publish
Set a price in the course settings (or make it free), connect payments, and hit Publish. Your course goes live on your branded storefront, ready for enrollments.
